HEALTH & SAFETY

Ritzy is responsible for the maintenance and good technical condition of its bicycles. It is our aim to provide the best quality bicycles that are regularly checked in order for our clients to enjoy their bike rides without any problems.
Ritzy has the right to refuse to rent any of its bicycles to any person the company deems not to have the necessary skills or for any other reason where Ritzy believes there is a danger to the persons’ or third parties’ health or safety. This refusal may occur even after a booking has been made and confirmed.

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD

The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours).

DELIVERY & RETURN OF THE BICYCLES 

All our bicycles are picked up at the office of Ritzy in Ayia Napa, Cyprus during our office hours (07:00 to 19:00). The duration of your rental starts and finishes according to the pick-up and drop-off dates and times stated on your Rental Agreement.

SECURITY 

Please note that upon collection of the bicycles a deposit will be kept as a security for Ritzy for the duration of the rental agreement. The deposit will be given back upon returning the bicycles in proper condition. In case of theft, loss, or total destruction of the bicycles an amount of 600 Euros is payable by the customer to Ritzy.

RENTAL AGREEMENT

The person renting the bicycle (the "renter") will be required to sign a Rental Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) when they take delivery of it– this Agreement will state all the necessary information that Ritzy will require from the customer. By signing the agreement, Ritzy confirms that they have checked the condition of the bicycle. Moreover, any damage to the bicycle will also be recorded in the Agreement. When the bicycle is returned, it will be checked by Ritzy for any damage and the renter will be liable for any damages that is not detailed in the Rental Agreement and will be payable immediately.

Unless otherwise stated on the Rental Agreement, the bicycle is to be returned to the office of Ritzy in Ayia Napa. In the event that the vehicle is returned late, then there will be a charge of one-quarter day rental for every hour over the stated time on the Rental Agreement.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

Ritzy accepts credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and American Express) as well as cash (Euros).

ACCIDENTS/DAMAGES/TECHNICAL PROBLEMS

In the event of any technical problems with any of the bicycles rented, Ritzy must be contacted immediately on info@ritzycyprus.com – failure to do so immediately may result in the person renting the bicycle having to pay additional charges.
In the event of an accident or damage to the bicycle rented or to a third party, Ritzy must be contacted immediately on info@ritzycyprus.com. There must be no acknowledgment to any third party of responsibility until the person renting the bicycle has spoken with Ritzy as this may result in the person renting the bike having to pay additional charges.
In the event of an accident the person renting the bicycle will be liable for any damage to the bicycle they have rented should they damage it (not initially stated on the Rental Agreement when taking delivery of the bicycle) or in the event of an accident where they are found to be at fault. Damage caused to a third party has to be borne by the customer.
